The University of Wisconsin-Madison will host the 23rd Midwest International Economic Development Conference (MWIEDC) this spring. The conference will be held April 24-25, 2026. The keynote speaker is Debraj Ray, the Julius Silver Professor of Economics at New York University.

The IMAEF is an international academic conference bringing together researchers in applied economics and finance. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are welcome. This is a non-commercial academic event organised by a public university.
