К ВОПРОСУ ОБ ИНСТИТУЦИОНАЛЬНОМ АНАЛИЗЕ СТАНОВЛЕНИЯ РОССИЙСКИХ ФИНАНСОВОПРОМЫШЛЕННЫХ ГРУПП

This article makes institutional analysis of case of Russian financial industrial groups (FIGs) as a unique example of organisational transformation in environmental change. The impact of political and market shifts that accompanied the transition precluded effective organisational adaptation on the part of the FIGs. The moments when the linkages between organisations and environmental institutions begin to break apart and re-crystallize are the times when the institutional embededdness of organisations cannot be ignored but clearly identified and studied. The specific direction of environmental change will have different effects on the survival capacities of different groups of organisations. The speed and magnitude of this process can make organisational adaptation extremely challenging, as has been demonstrated by the case of FIGs.
