The article deals with topical issues of the evaluation of a company's performance. The authors have conducted research to find out what can be considered a goal of any company's activity, and have come to a well-founded conclusion that a company's performance is best characterized by its policy and goals in the sphere of quality which represent the strategic orientation of its activity.
