25. Filling the Frames: Foundations and Future

This last chapter connects the entire book together. The authors, also editors of the book, wanted theory chapters to discuss and present leadership theory to students, practitioners, professors, scholars, basically everyone. They wanted the theories to not only be scholarly interpretations of the theories, but to also honor the hard work of the theorists and researchers who presented them in the ongoing evolution of leadership. Each theory represents people studying leadership, striving to teach leadership, create leadership, and develop new leaders for tomorrow. This chapter will hopefully inspire the scholars and writers in the future to continue the work, to write about the theories and the people who made the theories, the theorists.
