A Conceptual Framework of the Transformation of Management Systems : The Case of Bulgaria

The theoretical conceptualisation of management has produced a vast number of categories that have been used to underpin a variety of interpretative frameworks. This paper is a continuation of the efforts to create management models as simplified representations of the reality and as comprehensive cognitive maps (Todeva, 1996). An attempt is made to reconcile different paradigms and to establish a conceptual framework for management system analysis.
