A Framework for Crime Detection and Control in Digital Forensics

Digital forensic investigation Is a procedure to assure that digital evidence is identified, collected, preserved, examined, and reported in a manner to ensure the integrity of evidence remains unchanged. A standard and acceptable digital forensic investigation process be influenced by sequential digital forensic phases, and each phase is influenced by sequential events, respectively every event is depending on tasks. Although there are existing digital forensic investigation frameworks/models proposed by many researchers still improvement is required. Hence author proposed a sequential procedure for investigation which also follows the footprint of the old investigation. In addition, the proposed framework for crime scene investigation is efficient to fill this breach. Each cyber-crime case is distinctive in manner, which needs special consideration to solve. The proposed framework is useful for crime scene investigators who will get help in the investigation procedure
