A generalization of the Kawasaki inequality for diffusion constants

A generalization of the Kawasaki inequality for diffusion constants is obtained in the form of an inequality for master operators. The main presupposition is that the fundamental master operator is self-adjoint. The mathematical method is closely related to the Zwanzig projection technique.
