Adaptation of Blockchain Technology In HRM

Technology adoption must be a strategic step in recent days and in the coming years. Blockchain technology stands alone in digital transformation. The disruptive nature of Blockchain creates organizational process change in an appealing manner. Ensured privacy, flavors of case studies, and enthusiasts taking Blockchain further and further. Human resource management is the backbone of organizations. If we talk about organizational change it also means human resource management. Implementation of Blockchain in organization human resource management enables prudent talent acquisition and the right talent at the right place. The collaboration between various stakeholders to update skills and knowledge will be assisted with the help of blockchain technology in human resource management. Policymakers can use the information from the blockchain process to fix competency standards for employees. With regard to information exchange between employees and managers, in particular, the blockchain design will put a strong emphasis on enhancing and increasing the quality of the workforce. This will make it easier to find and analyze information on employee knowledge, abilities, and attitudes. Additionally, possibilities for employees and corporate management to access data will be available without being abused. Managers will be able to quickly keep track of each employee's performance items thanks to this, which may be utilized to advance employee careers. This paper aims to access the organization’s readiness and acceptance behavior in accordance with Blockchain technology. A sample of 352 was gathered from the people working in human resource management of the Information Technology industry, in Chennai – India. Structural equation modeling was employed to test the hypothetical model. The results revealed that social influence and facilitation conditions have a major influence on the adoption of the blockchain in the human resource management department. The study will offer information to organizational decision-makers who are willing to integrate blockchain technology in HRM and employee perceptions of employee acceptance of such transformation in the company
