Aggregation phenomena and fractal structures

In disordered aggregation processes fractal structures appear in a natural way. Many of their properties can be characterised in terms of scaling and numerous models have been introduced to describe different physical situations. “Clustering of Clusters” is a model applicable to several growth processes in colloid science and elsewhere. The basic results of a scaling analysis for this model is reviewed.
