An Agenda for Budgeting: A Concept Paper for Establishing a Budget Network in the LAC Region

This paper proposes that budget officials of Latin American and Caribbean (LAC) countries make use of the IDB dialogue process to convene periodically and discuss means of improving budget practices in the region. The paper surveys contemporary issues that may warrant consideration by the budget officials during the formative years of the contemplated LAC network. Last version available.
