An Empirical Study on Customers Opinion and Satisfaction on Services Provided by Depository Participants of Gandhinagar

Savings is an important function of households. Investments route the savings for higher growth and wealth creation. Debt and Equity are the key avenues of investments which are often offered under different variants. Sources of investments like real estate, gold, silver, commodities etc also exists. Investments in any form are characterized with the proof of investments, which often needs to be protected. Investments in shares are described in the most ancient form that is, physical certificate and the most modern form that is dematerialization of shares. Many depository participants (DP) provide the services of dematerialization of shares. Present paper tries to study the customer's opinion and satisfaction on the services provided by DP
