Analisis Pengumuman Right Issue Terhadap Harga Saham dan Volume Perdagangan Saham Perusahaan yang Go Public di Bursa Efek Indonesia

The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of right issue to the stock price and trading volume of shares in the company's large size and small size companies in companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange Period (2007-2009). The problem in this study is whether the announcement effect on the difference of stock price and trading volume of shares at the time, before, and after the right issue at the company's large size and small size companies. The research design used is a form of event study research. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder. The data used are secondary data. This study uses the target population consisted of 36 listed companies conducting rights issue. Hypothesis testing is done by using different test Paired T-Test with significance level (α) 5%. Analysing the data using statistical data processing software SPSS for windows 18:00. Different test results Paired T-Test showed that there were no significant differences to the stock price and trading volume before and after the right issue at both large companies and small companies
