Annual activity report for the financial year 2022 (Article 74(9) of the Financial Regulation)

The Court of Justice of the European Union (the 'Court' or the 'Institution') is the judicial institution of the Union tasked with ensuring compliance with Union law through a uniform interpretation and application of the Treaties and by guaranteeing a review of the legality of acts adopted by the institutions, bodies, offices and agencies of the Union. The Institution, composed of two courts, the 'Court of Justice' and the 'General Court of the European Union', contributes to the preservation of the Union's values and promotes European integration through its case-law.
