Annual review of working conditions in the EU 2006-2007

Quality of work and employment is an ongoing priority for policy in the European Union. This fourth annual review of working conditions in the EU from the European Working Conditions Observatory examines a range of issues and challenges related to working life and the workplace. It looks in particular at four key dimensions in quality of work and employment : career development and employment security, health and well-being, skills and competencies development, and work-life balance. Outlining relevant legislative and policy developments across the Union, it looks at a range of issues including gender equality, corporate social responsibility, and the implications of demographic change.
