ARGUMENTS AND COUNTER ARGUMENTS OF PUBLIC-PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS IN THE FIELD OF RENEWABLE ENERGY

This study focuses on the arguments and counter arguments for public private partnerships in the field of renewable energy. Even if when starting a joint project we are focused on the positive aspects, it is very important to share the negative factors in their whole perspective, in order to be able to go beyond. This study could be considered the foundation for future research in the area of implementing renewable energy projects at regional level through partnerships between the public administration and private companies. The main idea is that there are many challenges for both local governments and investors in the field of renewable energy and its regional development, and this research strives to emphasize them, even they are smaller in value then their positive opponents.
