Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Cybersecurity
In the face of increasingly sophisticated cyber threats, the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) into cybersecurity has become essential for enhancing protective measures. This literature review synthesizes research from 2019 to 2024, focusing on the diverse applications of AI technologies in the cybersecurity domain. It highlights the effectiveness of machine learning and deep learning algorithms in threat detection and response, and examines the role of big data analytics in improving the accuracy and efficiency of AI models. Ethical considerations, particularly concerning bias and accountability in AI deployment, are also discussed, emphasizing the need for transparency in algorithmic decision-making. Ultimately, while AI presents significant opportunities for advancing cybersecurity, the findings underscore the importance of addressing challenges related to data quality, resource constraints, and regulatory compliance to maximize its potential.
