Artificial Intelligence in Talent Acquisition Scale : Development and Validation

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a phenomenal invention in the field of technology. This invention has helped in reducing human errors and bias, making the process faster. However, there is a dearth in academic research on measuring the role of AI in Talent Acquisition (TA) and its usefulness. Thus, this paper aims at developing and validating an instrument of AI in TA. The study is based on quantitative data and has used techniques like exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis to determine the principal drivers of AI in TA. A 27- item instrument has been developed to measure the role of AI in TA consisting of five constructs; Candidate Sourcing (CS), Candidate Pre-screening (CPs), Candidate Assessment (CA), Candidate Engagement (CE) and Diversity Hiring (DH). The scale can be used in the future to measure the relationship of AI in TA with various organizational related outcomes like employer branding, productivity and employee retention
