Assessment Framework for Livelihood Vulnerability of Tribal Community

Nearly two-thirds of the world's poorest people reside in rural villages in low-income nations, where their major sources of income are subsistence farming and other natural resources. India has the second largest tribal population in the world . Tribal livelihood is always been a concern for policy makers in our country. It is necessary to plan, develop, implement, and monitor a complete strategy that addresses every facet of the development of human resources. The study aims to identify methods of the livelihood vulnerability assessment of tribal community. A proper evaluation on the vulnerability of tribal farmers is required to strengthen livelihood opportunities for the tribal communities. This study will help the future researchers for assessing the livelihood vulnerability of tribal people in Kerala context and also used to monitor the vulnerability, program resource for assistance, and evaluate potential progra
