Asymptotic representations for qualites of pooled samples
In this article the structure and the relationship of two individidual sample quantiles and their pooled sample quantile are discussed. An asymptotic normality result concerning the three related quantiles is established. It is shown that the pooled sample quantile can be asymptotically represented as linear combination of the two individual sample quantiles with a remainder of order Op(n-3/4).
