Az agrár-közgazdaságtan és a bioökonómia: a 28. Nemzetközi Agrárközgazdasági Konferencia tapasztalatai

A Nemzetközi Agrárközgazdasági Társaság (IAAE) 28. alkalommal rendezte meg kongresszusát Brazíliában 2012. augusztus 18–24. között, közel 40 ország mintegy 700 agrárközgazdászának részvételével, köztük számos nemzetközi, regionális és országos társaság és szervezet vezetőinek közreműködésével. A kongresszus mottója a bioökonómia volt, ennek jegyében a hét nap alatt 180 szekcióban közel 700 előadás hangzott el. A kongresszus kitűnő alkalmat biztosított a szakma kutatási irányainak követésére, ötletek gyűjtésére és a kapcsolatok építésére-ápolására is. A cikk célja, hogy a konferencián szerzett tapasztalatokat a teljesség igénye nélkül bemutassa az egyes napok programjainak rövid áttekintésével. Összességében világos, hogy a szakma legmagasabb szintű találkozója méltán lehet büszke hírnevére, és reméljük, hogy a cikk elolvasása minél több hazai kollégát ösztönöz a soron következő, 2015-ös milánói kongresszuson való részvételre. --------------------------------------------- The International Association of Agricultural Economists (IAAE) organised its 28th Congress in Brazil on 18-24 August 2012, with around 700 participants from approximately 40 countries. Several leaders of the profession at international, European and national level were among the participants, together with leaders of various international organisations. The slogan of the Congress was “The Global Bio-Economyâ€, under which around 700 presentations were made in 180 sections. The Congress has provided a good opportunity for keeping in touch with the recent trends in the profession, gathering new ideas as well as creating and managing relationships. The aim of the article is to demonstrate selected experience gathered at the conference by providing insights into the everyday programme. In general, it is clear that the highest level meeting of the profession can be proud of its reputation and we hope that the reading of this article will encourage many colleagues to participate in the next congress which is to be held in Milano in 2015.
