Az oktatás és a gazdasági fejlődés I. = Education and economic development (the post-socialist model)

Tanulmányunkban két kérdést igyekszünk megvizsgálni. Az egyik az iskolázottság és a gazdasági fejlődés kapcsolatának speciális (társadalmi, gazdasági – vagy más szóhasználattal kapitalizmus – modellek szerint vett) országcsoportonkénti sajátosságai. A másik a gazdasági fejlődésnek az oktatás (PISA vizsgálatok eredményeivel mért) minőségével és az innovációs teljesítménnyel összefüggő vizsgálata ugyancsak ezen országcsoportokra. Tulajdonképpen úgy is megfogalmazhatjuk kutatási kérdésünket, hogy az iskolázottságnak és az innovációs teljesítménynek a gazdasági fejlettséggel összefüggésben vannak-e a posztszocialista országcsoportra (és azon belül Magyarországra) jellemző fejlődési sajátosságai. = The study examines two issues. One is the specificity of the relationship between education and economic development by special group of countries. (Grouping of countries according to social, economic models). Another analysis is the examination of economic development in terms of the quality of the education (measured by the results of the PISA tests) and the innovation performance of these groups of countries. In fact, we may formulate our research question as to whether there is a post-socialist education and innovation model. That is, how specific the relationship between the economic development of the post-socialist countries (including Hungary) and their educational and innovation performance. The answer is controversial. German social scientist Ralf Dahrendorf wrote that „A political system can be changed over six months, an economic system can be transformed over six years, and society needs sixty years”.
