Betriebswirtschaftliche Voraussetzungen in den Unternehmen unter den Kriterien von Basel II
Basel II ist ein Schlagwort, das derzeit in allen Medien vertreten ist. Zu verstehen ist darunter die seit 1999 geltende „Neuregelung der Eigenmittelbestimmungen für Kre-ditinstitute“ des „Baseler Ausschuss für Bankenaufsicht“. Der Baseler Ausschuss ist ein Komitee in dem alle Zentralbanken der führenden Industrieländer vertreten sind. Basel II richtet sich demnach an Banken und schreibt einen gewissen Prozentsatz an Eigenmittelunterlegung für Kredite vor, der sich an der Bonität des kreditnehmenden Unternehmens orientiert. Der Baseler Ausschuss hat sich damit nach den vorange-gangen Finanzkrisen zum Ziel gesetzt, die Stabilität der internationalen Finanzmärkte mit Hilfe neuer Kreditrisikosteuerungsmethoden zu erhöhen und international die Wettbewerbsbedingungen zu vereinheitlichen . Indirekt sind davon natürlich auch die Kunden der Banken, die kreditnehmenden Betriebe betroffen.
