Cambodia's Comparative Advantage: The Niche that Survived after the End of the MFA
On January 1, 2005, the Multi-Fiber Agreement (MFA) on textiles and clothing came to an end. Many Cambodians worried that many garment factories would move to China or India. This paper was presented at the 17th International Cofnerence of the International Trade and Finance Association, Miami, Fl, May 2007.
