The certification of the mass fraction of aflatoxin M1 in whole milk powders : certified reference material: ERM-BD282 (zero level), ERM-BD283 (low level), ERM-BD284 (high level)
The mycotoxin aflatoxin M1 (AfM1) is a serious food safety hazard for which the European Commission has already established a maximum permissible level of 0.05 µg/kg AfM1 in milk and milk products. This report describes the preparation of three whole milk powder reference materials ERM-BD282 (zero level), ERM-BD283 (low level) and ERM-284 (high level) and the certification of their individual aflatoxin M1 mass fractions. ERM-BD282, ERM-BD283, ERM-BD284 were originally certified as BCR-282R, BCR-283R, BCR-284R.
