CHANGE MANAGEMENT: CHALLENGE TO TRANSFORM IT IN PUBLIC SECTOR ORGANIZATION
ERP implementation, commonly involve a complete change in business process and operation. Hence, responsiveness to internal customers is critical for an organization to avoid the difficulties associated with this change. To overcome complex organizational problem of workers resistance to ERP implementation, change management methods suggested an integrated, process-oriented knowledge formulation, strategy implementation, to manage the change introduced by IT is to identify and evaluate the attitudes of individual users and influential groups. Public sector ERP implementations are difficult. It is possible if managed effectively and with the right implementation partner. This paper has presented the issues, challenges in IT transformation in PSUs, means and technique to overcome the change management challenge.
