While extensive literature exists on the impact of infrastructure public-private partnerships (PPPs) on public value in Western countries, the same cannot be said for the Middle East. Despite the region hosting numerous PPP projects, some without essential legal and regulatory frameworks, this topic has received limited attention. Investigating PPPs in the Middle East is crucial, as even under challenging conditions, successful projects have been implemented. This chapter explores the case of Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport rehabilitation and expansion through the PPP route. The study identifies success factors categorized into macro-level elements related to political support and micro-level factors concerning the day-to-day management of the partnership between the public and private sectors. Unpacking these success factors provides valuable insights that contribute to the broader understanding of PPP success globally.
