EU clean air technology hub : final clean air tech report on development and greater uptake of cleaner solid fuel household heating solutions and evaluation report
The project leading to this final report started on 16 December 2020. Its objective was to support setting up a public-private-partnership across the European Member States, including relevant stakeholders dealing with technologies that have a potential to reduce air pollution in the EU arising from solid fuel Household Heating Solutions, and to provide insights for the DG Environment on how to most effectively set up such and organisational structure. The involved stakeholders include Manufacturers, Authorities, NGOs, Research institutions, coalitions/Networks/partnerships, and Investment organizations. The main objectives for the hub are to: Deploy EU clean air solutions Facilitate access to EU and national funding, for e.g., research, demonstration, and support of roll-out. Stimulate cooperation among European stakeholders and between industry and relevant European national authorities. Facilitate knowledge sharing and exchange of best practices across and beyond the EU. Improve communication about clean air technology success stories and the EU's role in creating growth and employment while delivering on core European Green Deal environmental and health objectives.
