Climate Change and India: Impacts, Policy Responses and a Framework for EU-India Cooperation

The purpose of this note is to provide a brief overview of: 1. the impacts that climate change is having on the Indian economy (section 1) 2. government policies that are in place that assist in adaptation to climate change (section 2) 3. Indiau0092s contribution to global greenhouse gases and mitigation efforts currently underway. (section 3) 4. indicative areas for collaboration between the EU and India on adaptation to climate change as well as on mitigation efforts.(section 4)
