The municipalities are entrusted to provide efficient service delivery to its citizens and the adoption of effective e-Governance measures have enabled them to achieve successful good governance. In this globalised world, the technology adoption and its application is emerging at a very rapid pace. The municipalities are keeping abreast of latest technologies and implementing them to enable greater facilitation of its services and at the same time increasing the accessibility of its services to the citizens.The paper discusses the comparative analysis of e-Governance maturity levels within the context of select metropolitan cities from South Africa and India. The comparative analysis focuses on maturity levels of various web enabled services and its accessibility to the citizens. The paper discusses the dimensions of e-Governance maturity reached from select metropolitan municipalities and its readiness level based on the extent of maturity levels. The paper compares the selected similar services from the case metropolitan municipalities featuring the dimensions of planning, governance, service delivery. Based on the e-Governance service delivery maturity levels, the paper identifies the lessons learned for similar metropolitan municipalities for strengthening the areas of planning, governance and service delivery services to the citizens
