Competency of Sharī‘ah Auditor in Islamic Banking and Finance Industry of Pakistan : Challenges and Pragmatic Solution

The main objective of this paper is to analyze the qualification and competency of a Sharī‘ah auditor in the light of existing Sharī‘ah governance frameworks and standards, i.e., Accounting & Auditing Organization of Islamic Financial Institutions (AAOIFI), Islamic Financial Services Board (IFSB), Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM), SECP and SBP's regulations.
