A Conceptual Framework to Study The Factors Influencing Digital Technology Adoption Amongst Manufacturing Industries : Leadership Effectiveness as a Mediating Variable
The convergence of emerging technologies and commitments of manufacturing enterprises has been observed to form a trend in reshaping the global manufacturing landscape and hence, electrical, and electronic (E&E) manufacturers cannot be expected to 'go it alone' in the current manufacturing environment. Specifically, companies in the manufacturing sector will profit from intelligent operational relationships with suppliers and government programmes that promote and support the adoption and usage of advanced development tactics and technology. Hence, this study aimed to shed light on the influence of digital technology adoption in the E&E manufacturing industry through the lens of leadership effectiveness. Under the proposed context, the current study focuses on identifying and altering the dynamics of new technologies in the E&E manufacturing sector wherein nations are aggressively competing for advanced manufacturing leadership
