Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects Environmental Procedures and SEA Guidance

This document of Environmental Procedures and SEA Guidance was prepared on the basis of the IDB Board approved "Proposal for a New Lending Instrument Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects," GN-2246. It contains procedures to review the environmental sustainability of the Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects (CCLIP) and guidelines for Strategic Environmental Assessment of CCLIP operations. The Conditional Credit Line for Investment Projects (CCLIP) is a lending instrument for financing investment projects that will increase the Bank's efficiency and speed in the loan preparation and approval process, and reduce loan-processing costs for both the Bank and its Borrowers.
