Connection Number Based Model for Coordination Development Evaluation of Regional Water Resources, Social Economy and Ecological Environment Complex System
The development of social economy often requires a large consumption of water resources, and will also discharge a large number of pollutants to the environment. Currently, the rapid development of water resources, social economy and ecological environment (WSE) complex system faces great challenges. The coordination development of WSE complex system is an important and necessary condition of regional sustainable development. Therefore, in order to scientifically and reasonably evaluate the coordination development state of the WSE system, based on the establishment of evaluation index system, the connection number and distance coordination model coupling approach for the coordination development evaluation of WSE complex system was proposed in this manuscript. The application results of the proposed method in coordination development evaluation of WSE system in Anhui Province, China indicate that, the coordination development degree of entire Anhui province presented distinct improving trend from 2011 to 2020, and the coordination development degree in different cities except of Fuyang, Huainan, Bengbu, Ma’anshan, and Tongling all reached to grade II by 2020. Meanwhile, the coordination development status of the 16 cities in Anhui province can be divided into three patterns according to its historical variation characteristics, i.e., coordination development mode, ecological environment backward mode, and social and economic backward mode. The research result is consistent with the practical statistics of Anhui Province, and can provide scientific and reliable decision-making basis for developing regional sustainable development policies
