Continuous Cycling, Shallow-Draft Sewage Siphons

This paper describes experiments with novel shallow-draft, small dose, continuously cycling siphons for septic tank effluent that prime at low flows, and break at high flows, covering the full range of household flows (e.g., 5-20 L/min). Comparative test results for a commercially available, conventional ‘bell siphon’ are also provided for a wider range of flows of 1-35 L/min
