Controlling Social Image Through Risk in the Dictator Game Experiment

Dictators tend to reduce the allocation amount in the experimental risky dictator game in which recipients gain the allocation probabilistically compared with the baseline dictator game. This could be attributed to probabilistic determination and social image. We conducted a series of experimental dictator games to identify which factor causes dictators to reduce the allocation. Due to controlling the level of social image, we could detect the effects of probabilistic determination and social image on the allocation amount.
