CORDIS results pack on local clean energy transition

With 75 % of EU citizens living in cities, urban initiatives play a pivotal role in achieving the European Green Deal's goal of climate neutrality by 2050. The 14 projects in this Results Pack support regions, cities and municipalities across Europe to develop and realise their clean energy transition goals. The projects in this Results Pack highlight activities that support cities with shorter-term implementation as well as long-term goals and ambitions for their clean energy transition. The aim is to accelerate adoption of energy efficiency measures, deployment of clean energy solutions and overall reduction of the CO2 emissions at the local level.
