Corporate Philanthropy in Shaping the Financial Efficiency of Financial Institutions - Empirical Research Based on Polish Cooperative Banks

The aim of the research was to establish the relationship between expenditure on corporate philanthropy of cooperative banks and their financial performance.The estimated models indicated, inter alia, on the importance of corporate philanthropy in shaping the financial efficiency of banks. The research also indicated a significant shift in time between banks' spendings on social activities and the financial results obtained, which was up to two years. The obtained results indicate an area that has not been analyzed so far, which is the impact of spendings on social activities in the context of shaping the financial efficiency of cooperative banks
