Cost action E12 : urban forests and trees : proceedings No 1

During the first two and a half years of COST Action E12 'Urban forests and trees', approximately 180 researchers from 34 countries around the world have collected and exchanged information within the field of urban forestry and urban greening. These proceedings include information on urban forests and trees for the practitioner as well as the researcher. They cover state-of-the-art research topics from the measurable effects trees have on the microclimate in cities and the removal of air pollutants to urban woodland planning and management and the very special conditions for urban tree planting.
