The IE Curriculum Revisited: Developing a New Undergraduate Program at Texas A&M University - Texas A&M University in 1993 began an extensive analysis and redesign of its undergraduate industrial engineering program. The design that emerged after three years attempts to bring a problem-solving-- rather than tool-oriented--approach to the curriculum.
