Looks at how Pacific tailored a new client/server‐based capacity planning system to enable Courtaulds Clothing to meet demand in the competitive fashion marketplace. Considers two applications: detailed capacity planning (DCP) and ease‐of‐use (EOU), which went live at the company in May 1996, and reports on their success.
