Cyber Security in Digital World
In the modern world of technology, nearly everything we do such as banking, shopping, learning, and even medical care—hinges on the internet. While it makes life convenient, however, it also creates the possibility of cyber threats like hacking, data stealing, and web-based fraud. This paper delves into what cybersecurity is, why it matters, and how it can safeguard individuals, companies, and governments against cyberattacks. It examines how nations approach cybercrime, how COVID-19 brought about a huge increase in online attacks, and how industries such as e-commerce are particularly exposed. The research also touches upon the part played by education, government policy, technology, and individual responsibility in the battle against cyber threats. It proposes that cybersecurity is not merely a technology issue—it's a matter of people, laws, corporations, and even our own everyday habits.
