Da Frente Para Trás: prestação de serviços à agropecuária e especialização regional no Brasil

This article was dedicated to understand better the services offered to agricultural and vegetable extraction in Brazil. In Brazilian case, rural extension and technical support to the producers have decreased with the State´s budgetary changes during the 90´s. There is a lack of works about services offered to agricultural and vegetable extraction in Brazil. The study had two goals, i. e., design a profile of services offered to agricultural and vegetable extraction in Brazil (so in real variables as in monetary variables), and identify a possible spatial realocation of related enterprises. Based on the data of PAS (IBGE) 4.000 firms were identified, highlighting South region (number of firms) and Southeast region (employees). Moreover, there were not found signals of spatial concentration of the firms toward the Middle-West region.
