Determinants of Effective Hr Analytics Implementation : An In-Depth Review and a Dynamic Model for Future Research
Human resource (HR) analytics implementation is a field that continues to evolve, especially in today’s digital era. However, despite its practical importance, we lack knowledge on the effectiveness of HR analytics implementation. Therefore, in this study, through an in-depth content analysis of 86 peer-reviewed HR analytics articles published over the past twenty years, and based on the adaptive structuration theory (AST), we map the historical evolution of HR analytics to reveal how determinants of HR analytics implementation have changed and developed over time. This study then develops the protection-analytics-involvement-leadership (PAIL) framework, which summarizes the factors that are necessary for HR analytics to advance organizations. Furthermore, we provide a guideline for both HR practitioners and HR scholars to manage the effective implementation of HR analytics rely on a proposed dynamic model. Finally, we provide a future research agenda, which may help generate new streams of HR analytics research
