Developing and deploying your own rules of innovation
There are many documented methods that teach systematic ways to innovate. However, the methods are not easy to follow. Even applying these techniques needs creativity. As a result, many industries find it difficult to really implement these techniques. The present paper highlights the difficulty in following rules laid down by others and introduces a method to develop rules of innovation based on one's own experiences. A list of rules developed for getting innovative results, is illustrated with examples.
