Developing Indicators for Regional Inter-Municipality Cooperation

The main objective of this work will acquire and carry out analyses of indicators characterizing the form and intensity of inter-municipality cooperation in towns and municipalities of the South Bohemian Region (Czech Republic) with dependence on economic strength and geographical location of the region after the year 1989. Based on the acquired data, the follow-up objective will establish trends in the development of individual indicators and identify the various attitudes to cooperation, as well as formulate recommendations for its further development and optimization. This objective will be supplemented by an analysis of the current situation in intermunicipality cooperation in the South Bohemian Region and a prediction of future development in this area.
