Dynamics of sectoral contributions to productivity development in context of business cycle

The main aim of this paper is to analyse sectoral contributions to dynamics productivity and output development in context of business cycle. Used dates were Czech Republic behind years 1995- 2009 (15 years). The main used indicators were labour productivity and capital productivity. The analysis has showed, that dynamics changes in growth rate of productivity has clear link to business cycle. Dynamic changes of growth rate labour and capital productivity in the context of business cycle is influence primarily by secondary sector (industry) and tertiary sector (private services). On the contrary, quaternary sector (public services) and quinary sector (developing services) have no significant relation to growth rate of productivity and business cycle. The growth rate of labour or capital productivity are not influenced by changes in structure of employment or investment.
