E-GOVERNMENT ADOPTION - AN OBJECTIVE NEED OR FASHIONABLE TENDENCY IN ORGANIZATIONAL TRANSFORMATION

E-Government adoption is a challenging and actual analysis subject. This paper analyzes the way in which e-Government can help nations achieve their social and economic objectives by pointing out the objectives, benefits and limitations of the concept. The paper also provides recent E-government statistics, emphasizes the role of Knowledge Management to e-government and offers recommendations for its successful implementation and development.
