Econometric Modelling of Working Capital Effective Use in Agribusiness

In up-to-date conditions the urgent problem for businesses of agricultural economy sector has been the acceleration of working capital turnover which provides the release of the resources for additional production in particular and the increase of business profitability as a whole. The paper proposes the econometric model for the assessment of seven factors’ impact (receivables per UAH 1,00 of working capital, short-term loans per UAH 1,00 of working capital, share of working capital in production, materials capacity, proportion of working capital in total assets, net profit per UAH ,001 of. material expenses, payable turnover ratio) on the duration of agricultural businesses working capital turnover. For building up the econometric model the data on factor characteristics average value dynamics for 122 agricultural enterprises in Kharkov region within 2006-2012 have been used. The methodology for making estimates as to the duration of working capital turnover in agribusiness has been presented. The estimates for duration of working capital turnover at the enterprises under research for the oncoming three years have been made.
