Der Aufsatz beschreibt, wie mit Hilfe hochwertiger Wirtschaftsdaten kurzfristige Vorhersagen über die Inflationsentwicklung gemacht werden können. Als wichtige Bestandteile eines Modells zur Prognose der Inflationsentwicklung werden die hohe Qualität der Daten und Maßnahmen zur Korrektur von Fehlern im Modell hervorgehoben.
