Editorial: No David to battle Goliath or analysing accounting for climate change

The world financial and economic crisis is the worse since the Great Depression. But it should not be forgotten that climate change is dangerously and continuously destroying planet earth. This editorial does not deny the importance of the economic mess that bankers and hedge-fund managers have plunged the world economy. While world leaders are focused on the economic crisis, climate change is growing. We have no David to do battle with the environmental Goliath. In this editorial, we provide evidence as to the seriousness of the climate change and explore our responsibilities as academics and professionals.
